This Returns Policy applies to all products purchased online through our website or directly from our Hermanus Gas Retail Outlet in Hermanus.

Returns for Defective Products:

If you receive a product that is defective, please notify us as soon as possible, ideally within 7 days of receiving your order or purchase. You may return the defective product for a full refund or an exchange for the same product, provided the defect is confirmed upon inspection.

Returns for Non-Defective Products (Exchanges Only):

We understand that sometimes you may need to exchange a non-defective product. We gladly accept exchanges for products that are:

  • Returned within 14 days of receiving your order or purchase.
  • In their original and undamaged packaging, including all original tags, labels, and accessories.
  • Accompanied by the original proof of purchase (e.g., order confirmation, invoice, till slip).

Please note that exchanges are subject to stock availability. If the desired exchange product is unavailable, we may offer a suitable alternative or store credit.

Return Process:

For Online Purchases:

  1. Please contact our customer service team via email at info@hermanusgas.co.za or by phone at (028) 313 1400 to inform us of your intention to return or exchange a product. Please provide your order number and details of the product and the reason for the return/exchange.
  2. We will provide you with instructions on how to return the product, which may involve you shipping the product back to us.
  3. Once we receive the returned product and verify its condition, we will process your refund (for defective items) or arrange for the exchange (subject to stock availability).

For Retail Outlet Purchases:

  1. Please bring the product, along with the original proof of purchase and original packaging, to the Hermanus Gas Retail Outlet in Hermanus.
  2. Our staff will assess the product and assist you with a refund (for defective items) or an exchange (subject to stock availability).

Important Notes:

  • We reserve the right to refuse a return or exchange if the product does not meet the conditions outlined in this policy.
  • This Returns Policy does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
